Uploading 2D and 3D models to your Supplier Services account on 3D ContentCentral is effortless and free. Once you have located or created parts or assembly files that are ready for publishing in the product catalog, you can add them using the 3D ContentCentral File Upload program. You will need to create a company account on 3D ContentCentral Supplier Services, install the free File Upload Program on your computer, and simply drag, drop and click to upload your models. Before uploading, you may associate category keywords to individual or groups of models, choose a model display name, and add optional tags and model descriptions within the File Upload Program. You may also do this once your files are uploaded using more of the simple Supplier Services tools.
Reviewing your models in your 3D ContentCentral Company Supplier Services account is straight-forward using the 3D Content Manager. The Content Manager displays all of your model files that have been uploaded, and allows you to make changes to the file information associated with each or multiple models. Use the edit command to modify fields associated with a model on a single editing page dedicated to the model you have selected. Add drawing files and datasheets to the selected model on the editing page to provide more information about your product to the user community. You may also preview each model prior to publishing in order to optimize the appearance and function of configurations and model details before your models are published to the vast 3D ContentCentral user community.
Once you have uploaded your models using the File Upload Program and reviewed them in the Content Manager, you can publish them from within the Content Manager, making them visible in the product catalog to the entire global user community on 3D ContentCentral. You may publish or unpublish any model or groups of models at any time. The models are yours to show to the community or keep from the community until ready for display. The model files and other files contained within your Supplier Services account are your property, and stored in a secure online location which will maintain your sensitive intellectual property with the attention it requires.
Maintaining your online presence with the simple File Upload Program and easy to use Content Manager provides you with several efficient ways to update your models and model information. Use the Excel® file Import Template to import large groups of new files and updates to existing files in your Supplier Services account. Use “Get Report” in the Content Manager to generate an Excel file with information on the models and files in your Supplier Services account.
