Maintaining models

Once you have uploaded models using the File Upload tool and reviewed them in the Uploaded files area, you can publish them, making them visible to the entire global user community on 3D ContentCentral. Also, you can use Models on your website to make these models visible on your company's website.

You can choose to publish or unpublish any model or group of models on 3D ContentCentral at any time, showing them to the community or keeping them hidden until they are complete and ready for display.

The model files and all other files contained within your Supplier Services account remain your property. 3D ContentCentral is a secure online location that maintains your sensitive intellectual property.

To add files to the upload queue by dragging and dropping:

  1. Select the files and drag them to the Drag & drop your files here to upload area in the File Upload tool.
  2. When you drop the files on the File Upload tool, the program checks each file and determines if it is a new upload or a replacement. For each upload, a row is added to the Upload Queue containing:

  4. Select the files you want to upload in the Upload Queue pane and click .
Note: When the upload completes, 3D ContentCentral runs the models through some basic checks. Models that fail these checks are rejected and are placed in the Rejected Models section of the 3D ContentCentral Uploaded files area.
