3D ContentCentral® Request Contest - RULES

Official Contest Rules
By submitting your information you are agreeing that you have read and accepted the Official Contest Rules and you understand that the contact information you provide will be stored and used for marketing purposes by SolidWorks Corporation.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

  1. SolidWorks Corporation is offering the "3DContentCentral Request Contest" (the "Contest") to 3DContentCentral registered users and will award multiple prizes based on numbers of appropriately filled requests per participant.

  2. Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of any municipal, state or federal government or government agency are not eligible. If you work for a company with a policy prohibiting employees from participating in trade promotions and/or receiving gifts, prizes or compensation of any kind from another company, you are not eligible. Employees, officers, and directors of SolidWorks Corporation, and their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and their immediate families and those living in their households, are not eligible. Void in Brazil and Quebec and where prohibited or restricted by law or employment policy.

    To enter the Contest:

    • Access the SolidWorks website page http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/Requests.aspx. The three (3) eligible 3DContentCentral community members who fill the most content requests by submitting appropriate content shall each be awarded a 4 GIG iPod nano®. Content appropriateness to be determined by a SolidWorks product manager based on relevance of submitted content to the request it was submitted to fill.
  3. The Contest begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) on March 10, 2008 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2008. Requested content must be received by 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2008.
  4. Winners will be contest entrants with the three (3) largest totals of unique requests filled by appropriate content during the Contest duration. Random drawing will used as tiebreaker if necessary. Winners will be notified by e-mail, phone and or/mail within ten (10) business days of the conclusion of the Contest period. Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify a winner's consent to the use of his/her name, address (country, city and state only), voice and/or photograph for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation. SolidWorks Corporation and its officers, directors, and agents shall not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a winner.
  5. The three (3) prize winners shall each receive a 4 GIG iPod nano® (estimated price US $149.99). No substitution or transfer of prizes or cash equivalent is permitted. In the event of unavailability, SolidWorks Corporation reserves the sole right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winner is responsible for income taxes in the country and/or state on any prize received.
  6. SolidWorks Corporation and its officers, directors, and agents shall not be liable for (a) telephone, electronic, program, network, Internet, or computer failures of any kind; or (b) failed, incomplete, garbled, unintelligible, or delayed submissions. If the administration or integrity of the Contest is compromised or corrupted at any time, SolidWorks Corporation reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Contest. SolidWorks Corporation and its officers, directors, and agents shall not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from entering the Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants release and hold Solidworks Corporation and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, partners, and agents harmless from any and all damages, claims, and liabilities of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light).
  7. By entering the Contest, entrant also agrees that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorney's fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.
  8. By registering to enter the Contest, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these official Contest rules. The laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its rules and principles of conflicts of laws, apply to and govern this Contest, and any claims must be raised and resolved in Massachusetts. The foregoing includes all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules, and the rights and obligations of any Contestant and the Sponsors. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the invalidity or unenforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
  9. To obtain the name of the Contest winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope postmarked by July 15, 2008 to: SolidWorks Corporation, 300 Baker Avenue, Concord, Massachusetts 01742, Attention: 3DContentCentral Request Contest Winner List.
  10. The Contest is sponsored by SolidWorks Corporation, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. SolidWorks Corporation will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Contest Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
