Ball Bearing Rotary TablesThe RT Series incorporates large preloaded ball bearings and a precision worm/ gear drive. The 6", 8", 10", and 12" diameter versions include a preloaded, anti-backlash worm assembly to provide exceptional angular accuracy and repeatability. They include an internally mounted Hall-effect limit sensor that is wired directly to a locking limit/encoder connector for position registration accurate to a single step. These units include a motor with a knob and a flexible coupling. A second limit sensor can optionally be installed to electrically restrict travel in applications where the 360 degree travel must be limited to a specific arc. Clear apertures (or "through-holes") are optionally available. Our integral rotary encoder can be specified with our RT Series, where it provides 0.001 degree resolution encoder feedback with a 180:1 worm/gear ratio and a 200 step/rev. stepping motor with a divide-by-ten microstep drive.Crossed Roller Rotary TablesThe RTR Series of motorized rotary tables provides unlimited angular positioning with a high load capacity. The RTR Series design uses a large crossed roller bearing, which provides high torsional stiffness in addition to its high load capacity. The 6", 8", 10", and 12" diameter versions include a preloaded, anti-backlash worm assembly to provide exceptional angular accuracy and repeatability. A Halleffect limit sensor provides a convenient "home" reference position, accurate to a single step. These units include a motor with a knob and a flexible coupling. Travel can be restricted by requesting a second position sensor. A clear aperture is available on each model. |
