Square, Hex and Slotted Sleeves

These versatile sleeves are ideal for couplings, extensions, sockets or drivers. Round O.D. with a uniform hexagon hole broached from one end to the other. Available in mild steel or pre-hardened steel, 1144 class, to Rockwell 23-30C. The pre-hardened sleeve is carefully turned to provide .003" concentricity ID to OD.

The use of square slotted sleeves provides a simple, quick and inexpensive method of installing tool bits in boring bars, tool holders and cutter heads. The sleeves are tapped at one end and furnished with back-up screws. Saves many hours over machining square holes in boring bars, tool holders and cutter heads. Instructions included with shipment.
