Transfer or Spotting Screws

By using transfer screws blind holes may be transferred to new work in a fraction of the time required by other methods. Insert the transfer screws in the holes to be transferred, tighten, invert, strike a sharp blow and the true circle and true center is recorded on the new material, ready for drilling. Holes of various sizes may be transferred in the same plane with one impression as all sizes have a uniform shoulder height (.200") regardless of diameter. These transfer screws are case-hardened and are threaded .005" under standard pitch diameters to compensate for shrinkage of screw holes. Combination sets include four of each size listed.
