The Columbia Marking Tools Model 288 Air Impact Marker is designed for medium-duty applications that require deep, permanent marks with reliable performance. With a patented design that delivers up to 3 tons of impact force, the Model 288 provides powerful results in a compact, economical package suitable for a wide range of industrial marking needs.

Model 288 Specifications

Model 288 Overview

  • Three mounting styles: Standard angle bracket, reverse angle bracket, and straight sub-plate
  • Three standard rod styles for different stamping die configurations
  • Two air port options: Standard end port or side port for tight-space installations
  • Keyed, non-rotating rod for precise die alignment
  • Available approach stroke lengths: 2.5", 4", or 6"

The Model 288 is available in three configurations: Standard, Extreme Industrial (non-corrosive coated for harsh environments), and Submersible (coated and keyless for leak test applications).
