Description
This part is made using extruded features with some hole wizard holes. Bottom and side tabs are added. Cutout fillets are used to add materials instead of removing the material. The Mirror tool is used to save time by creating one half of the part and then mirror the body. Make sure to select "Merge Results" to ensure the geometry fuses together to become ONE solid body NOT TWO.

Description
This is a machined part that has mostly extruded features and some hole wizard holes. Start by building half the part symmetric with Right Plane. Tangent on the right side of sketch using centerline so mirrored cut geometry will not have an extra edge. Then, break up the first few features to keep the sketches as simple as possible.

Description
This sheet metal part has a feature that determines the thickness and bend radius. A 14 Gauge Aluminum was used for this model. The Sheetmetal part is symmetric with respect to the right plane except for the last two edge flanges. Sheetmetal features are used so that the part can be flattened out to create a flat pattern.

Description
Start\ off with flat plate and then add edge flanges. Sheetmetal features are used so that the part can be flattened out to create a flat pattern. Modified sketch to include large rectangular cutout instead of using separate extruded cut feature.

Description
This Split Line uses overlapping contours within the sketch to create two faces which will be used as profiles in the 'Pod' Loft. When unsuppressed, this Shell demonstrates a serious Shell error. If Verification on Rebuild is active, the Shell simply ignores the "Pod". If Verification on Rebuild is turned off, the Shell produces bad geometry with two general faults. This suppressed feature is left in the model to provide background on the issue that is worked around (w/a) later in the tree.

Description
The planes are created as simple offset planes. The sketches are created using a Derived Sketch that is an exact copy of the parent sketch. Curves are added using a 3D Sketch and a Spline. The profile for the Sweep is a rectangle with centerline from midpoint to midpoint. The 'thickness' of the metal should be perpendicular to the main face all around the perimeter. Curve1 and Curve2 are created as a Curve through Reference Points, using the Closed Curve checkbox. The Thicken Command is used to add material thickness to the surface body.
